JitBit Macro Recorder is one of the best automation tools I have ever used. Recently, I have taken an interest in macro recorders because I needed to save some time that I was wasting in really repetitive tasks that a computer could handle just fine. My main system is a Mac, and I tried JitBits Mouse Recorder for the Mac app and loved it. Then, I found out that they also developed a Windows macro recorder and I was sold when I read all the features that this app has. I have tried macro recorders by other developers, and they work for the task that I needed them for, but this one destroys the competition in my opinion.
The first thing that you will notice about Macro Recorder is how neat its graphical user interface is. Everything is where you would want it to be and the interface simply looks great. The second thing you will notice when you start recording a macro is that the developers put a lot of thought in designing a tool that can adjust itself to let you do what you need to do. Basic mouse movement and keyboard key recording is in pretty much every macro recorder, but JitBit Macro Recorder lets you edit your macros after you have recorded them, it lets you schedule when you want to run a macro, and it even lets you re-record at the end of your currently loaded recording.
While the app is recording your actions, a bar will be displayed at the top of the screen. It will display the current state of the application (recording, playing, recording stopped or paused, etc) and let you play, pause, or abort playback. You can optionally disable this bar, but I found it is quite useful because it stays out of the way while providing important information.
There is a ton of great features and it would be hard for me to pick a favorite. I absolutely love the "IF" commands. There is even one that looks for an image on the screen and when it finds it, it carries out a command. Unrelated to these "IF" commands, another great feature is the ability to insert a second macro that will be played at a specific moment when you call it up. This lets you step up your system automation considerably.
HP Quick Launch Buttons allows the use of multimedia buttons on they keyboard.
Schedules a macro to run at specific time that is the most convenient for you.
